La Barbie Ballerina, presentata nel 1976, ha un corpo particolarmente snodato in grado di descrivere le classiche figure di una étoile del palcoscenico. Il busto è quello con la vita a taglio diritto, mentre le gambe hanno una rotazione intorno al bacino molto più ampia rispetto agli altri modelli di Barbie. I tre clic nelle gambe permettono, come al solito, di poter piegare le ginocchia. La seconda caratteristica di questa Barbie è costituita dalle mani , disegnate anche in questo caso per somigliare a certe pose assunte dalle ballerine mentre danzano.

The Barbie Ballerina, presented in 1976, has a particularly articulated body able to describe the classic figures of an étoile of the stage. The bust is the one with the straight cut waist, while the legs have a much wider rotation around the pelvis than the other Barbie models. The three clicks in the legs allow, as usual, to be able to bend the knees. The second characteristic of this Barbie is constituted by the hands , designed also in this case to resemble certain poses assumed by the dancers while they dance.
