L’originale Barbie Malibu, col solo costume azzurro ma priva degli altri accessori , fu proposta sul mercato europeo con un nuovo codice e una nuova confezione, e chiamata, semplicemente, “Barbie”. La versione del 1971-1972 ripropone il volto Stacey, il corpo è il Twist ‘N Turn ma le gambe sono diritte, senza lo snodo a tre clic alle ginocchia.

The original Barbie Malibu, with only the blue costume but without the other accessories , was proposed on the European market with a new code and a new package, and simply called "Barbie". The 1971-1972 version revives the Stacey face, the body is the Twist 'N Turn but the legs are straight, without the three-click joint at the knees.
