Col nome di Malibu esce ora la Sun Lovin’ , con un bikini azzurro al posto del costume intero. Ha la simpatica particolarità di lasciar “ sbirciare ” (come recita lo slogan inglese: “peek-a-boo”) l’abbronzatura: infatti il corpo è volutamente più chiaro nelle zone coperte dal bikini !

With the name of Malibu , Sun Lovin is now out, with a light blue bikini instead of a one-piece swimsuit It has the nice peculiarity of letting " peek " the tan: in fact the body is intentionally lighter in the areas covered by the bikini !

Here   on   the   left , three variants of the Sun Lovin ’Malibu: the   first   on   the   left   is the classic one for the US market , in   the center the European version and more precisely for the Italian market , and on the   right a rare version with the face of Stacey . Qui   a   fianco , tre varianti della Sun Lovin’ Malibu: la    prima    a    sinistra è quella classica per il mercato USA , al   centro la versione europea e più precisamente per il mercato italiano , e a   destra una rara versione col volto di Stacey .

On the Italian version " Prendisole " the figure drawn is a mirror image of the US figure. The peculiarity however is that this Barbie does not have tanned skin , so there is no difference in color between under and out of the bikini! The package also did not contain any accessories (mat, bag, sunglasses). Sulla versione italiana “ Prendisole ” la figura disegnata è speculare a quella USA. La particolarità però è che questa Barbie non ha la pelle abbronzata , quindi non c’è alcuna differenza di colore fra sotto e fuori il bikini! La confezione inoltre non conteneva alcun accessorio (tappetino, borsa, occhiali da sole).

Another very rare version is the one with the face of Stacey , which brings to mind the first Sunset Malibu with the same code # 1067 of 1971. Un’altra versione molto rara è quella con il volto di Stacey , che richiama alla mente la prima Sunset Malibu con lo stesso codice # 1067 del 1971.
