the
sweet,
youthful
face
"TNT",
in
1976
Barbie
changes
its
appearance
again.
The
face
is
illuminated
by
a
sunny
smile
,
perhaps,
as
is
generally
claimed,
inspired
by
the
actress
F
arrah
Fawcett
.
After
all,
the
blonde
"Charlie's
Angel"
was
the
TV
personality
of
the
moment
and
Barbie,
with
her
new
aspect
rich
in
communication,
was
now
a
more
spontaneous
girl
with
immediate
sympathy.
This
face
was
by
far
the
most
used
for
Barbie:
both
for
the
so-called
"
Playline
",
the
cheapest
Barbie
games,
and
for
collectible
models.
Here
the
Superstar
face
appeared
on
the
1976
Malibu,
perhaps
used
as
a
"launch"
to
verify
its
acceptance
among
the
public,
although
this
face
took
its
name
from
the
model
considered "official", the 1977
Super Star
.
