Questa versione afroamericana è affiancata dalla versione caucasica. Entrambe le versioni indossano un abito giallo in stile contadino con un bordo di pizzo in fondo alla gonna.

In 1982 the Barbie Magic Curl was released: its characteristic is that it can transform the “magic curls” into straight hair thanks to a lotion contained in the bo x. This African American version is flanked by the Caucasian version. Both versions wear a yellow peasant style dress with a lace at the bottom of the skirt.
